Who should be appointed as a company secretary?

As there is no longer a legal duty to appoint a company secretary since Section 270 of the Companies Act 2006 came into force, it is entirely up to you whether you choose to appoint a company secretary or not. However, very many registered limited companies still choose to appoint one.
